The ISC is proud to announce the Gold and Silver sponsors for our Charity Gala on the 22nd October raising money for UN Women, a global organisation dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Gold Sponsors

Silver Sponsors

Our industry has done some incredible work as part of UN Women’s HeForShe Campaign, which is about engaging men, and all genders, in the debate around gender inclusion and equality. Many of our business leaders have already made personal and professional public commitments to create a more gender equal world, inspiring others to join the conversation.

Insuring Women’s Futures (IWF)has also driven change across our profession to give everyone a platform to demonstrate how we can all personally make a difference in changing the way the insurance sector works for women. IWF and the ISC launched an insurance industry HeForShe campaign back in September 2016, the first ever industry-wide HeForShe campaign. Galvanising an industry in this way has proved to have an impact with over 600 pledges already made across the market for a more gender equal future. However, we know together we can do more.

Three years on, we would like to celebrate these great HeForShe commitments at our gala, including giving a few special awards on the evening, to keep momentum in the acceleration of a more equal future for all.

ISC Founder, Barbara Schonhofer, comments: “Courage is needed to create a perfect storm for change: Courage of companies and leaders to recognise the need to be more welcoming and inclusive organisations. Courage of our industry directors to hire and promote more women for their potential. Courage of the women to go for it even when we feel outside our comfort zone. We are taking a moment on the 22nd of October to recognise and reward courage and celebrate the energy and collaboration across the market and together.”
